Road Rally 2005
October 23, 2005
The Road Rally was awesome in
case you missed it. Filled with excitment and stories. We started
out from the church and the way it worked was there was a set of
clues. You got one clue to start and this would lead you to a
location, then you'd have to find the next location and so on and so
forth. The cars left at 5 minute intervals to avoid people just
following each other. The first clue led us to Mcdonald woods, but
this is where it got interesting.
Turns
out someone or something
had destroyed the box with the clues.
So we were all at MCcdonald
woods so mike read us the clues and we were off again. It was
footrace to the next couple clues. It was neck and neck until the
beach. Everyone went in the same entrance, only one problem: it was
the wrong entrance. Moxipad and Maibauer ran ALL the
way down the beach and found the clue while everyone
else was still looking. They jumped out into the lead. However, the
next couple clues really jumbled up the order. The clues took us
from Milburn to Illinois beach to Gurnee to Waukegen to CLC and then
finally ended up at the corn maze. The Gomolls got to the corn maze
first, however MR. Stewlardt's car had the quickest time, so they
were the winners. It was a great time, spanning near 80 miles and 4
hours.
